In Memory of Lynwood (Woody) Lee (1947-2009)
Lynnwood A. Lee, 62, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Oct. 19, 2009. He
was diagnosed with melanoma in 1999, and often said "I have no regrets and I lived ten years on
God's borrowed time." He was at peace and content with life. He loved his family dearly and took
special pride in his 3 grandchilren and 1 on the way. Dad loved to fish and go boating, he and Mom
traveled extensively, and had fun in everything they did. Looking back over pictures, I haven't
seen one yet where he wasn't smiling from ear to ear with dimples. He was such an inspiration;
solid loving family man, smart (and stubborn), funny, could figure anything out or put anything
together. He fought the battle bravely, never once complained about how he was feeling or the
treatments. He was truly at peace with the Lord, and enjoyed the time he had here with family and
friends. We will miss him so much every day, but I also know he is with us every day, and his
grandchildren have their very own special guardian angel. We love you always Dad.
