In Memory of Matthew Lindstrom (1981-2007)
Matthew was a loving person and a minimalist. He was a creative cook by
trade, and in his off time he created many beautiful paintings, wrote music, published a CD, played
guitar, Native American flute, dulcimer, mandolin and would learn nearly every other instrument he
touched. The songs he wrote and published, and most of his most beautiful paintings were created
during the last months of his illness. He also journaled most of his life, and his journals were
actually beautiful poetry. Matthew had a huge heart for the afflicted; whether they were ill, poor,
abused, or just down on their luck, Matthew would give them his last dollar. Matthew was beautiful.
